Meeting report

The Isle of Arran (vc 100) is located between the Ayrshire coast and the Kintyre peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. Despite being very popular with tourists, the island has had few bryological records in the past two decades which made it a good choice for a summer meeting where the aim was to explore unrecorded areas and try to refind older records.
