The day will be based on the Tarras Valley Community Reserve near Langholm. This area has, over the last four,  years, seen the community buyout of 10,500 acres of land to form the Tarras Valley Nature Reserve, now managed by the Langholm Initiative. There will be two moss walks, from the Tarras Lodge Car Park, NY40228731, at 10am and 2 pm.

Dress warmly, bring waterproofs and appropriate footwear for rough ground.
