Meet at 10:30 at the Newbattle Abbey College car park NT33144 65935 and What3Words: ensemble.released.cubed  There should be parking within the grounds.

The aim is to learn and record bryophytes in the woods immediately across the Esk (but not in or around the river). A short stretch of path is narrow with a steep slope below. The woods are very popular with dog walkers and dog fouling is a problem. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Please also bring a packed lunch and a hand lens, ideally with a LED light.
