This is a privately owned woodland of approximately 10 hectares which has been assessed as being ancient/long-established woodland. It has dry and wet woodland which correspond to the EU Annex I woodland types ‘old sessile oak woodland’ and ‘alluvial forests’ and there are a number of streams.
