Meeting details

Meet at 11 a.m. at Swavesey church, which is right by the station for the light railway. (Journey time from Cambridge about 40 minutes.)

We have not visited Swavesey church since 2004, but Jon Graham and Chris Preston also visited it in 2006, and Jon Shanklin found Lophocolea bidentata there in 2012. After the church we shall probably make a survey of the non-clerical parts of the village for comparison.

In the afternoon we shall go to the RSPB Fen Drayton pits, which we have not visited since 2014. (Parking £2 for non-RSPB visitors.)
