Course details

Tutor: David T. Holyoak

Description: This course is for intermediate/ advanced bryologists and is restricted to members of the BBS only.
The course will start with a lecture session on Friday evening, followed on Saturday by a lab session then field work and finally another lab session. On Sunday morning, we will start with a lab session followed by an afternoon in the field.

Accommodation: This is a residential course based at Preston Montford Field Studies Centre and there is a choice between single occupancy and shared occupancy (see https://www.field-studies-council.org/fsc-preston-montford-accommodation/) . All meals from Friday evening to Sunday lunch will be included.

Cost:  The projected cost will be £200 for single occupancy and £180 for shared occupancy. This covers room and board, lab and microscope hire. You are welcome to take your own microscopes but there will be no reduction in cost.

Booking: Places are limited to 15 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Payment must be made immediately after you’ve received confirmation of a place in order to secure your booking.
