Haslemere Museum has a long involvement with mosses through a former Curator Arthur Jewell who wrote The Observer’s Book of Mosses and Liverworts and used a local artist to illustrate it.

The Museum are planning to celebrate National Moss Day with 2 events, of which this is the first.
